The ‘One Thing’

“That which is below corresponds to that which is above
And that which is above corresponds to that which is below
To accomplish the miracles of the ‘One Thing’
And just as all things come from this ‘One Thing’
Through the meditation of one mind
So do all created things originate from this ‘One Thing’ through transformation”
Excerpt from ‘Emerald Tablet’

Earth ‘that which is below’ and Heaven ‘that which is above.’  All things comes from the One Thing that permeates Heaven and Earth; the ‘One Thing’ is Energy, or Chi, the omnipresent force present throughout the whole of creation.

In Zen Buddhism and Asian philosophy in general, Tao represents the primordial nature of all things; a natural order of the Universe from which all things manifest.  The spiritual practice of Buddhism is therefore the practice of ‘becoming one with the Tao.’  This means to harmonise with the source of all that is.

To understand how the Law of Attraction either invites or impedes our desires it is only necessary to understand it is not ‘like that attracts like’ but ‘like vibrational frequencies that attract their match.’

At a basic level, if we feel bad, we are only ever going to attract more ‘bad’ because that is the vibrational match; however if we feel awesome, we will attract more ‘awesome.’

It is our feelings, which are also frequencies, creating their own unique vibrations that have the power to bring us positive or negative experiences.

Healing practices using colour therapy, crystal healing and sound energy healing all offer different vibrational frequencies and are used to balance out a disruption in the internal Energy system of the body.

In formulas of Feng Shui such as the Eight Mansions or the Eight Aspirations, colours, crystals, sound, light and movement are incorporated into home, office and retail establishments.  This is to enhance and attract positive energies into the spaces making them more harmonious and attractive to live and work in and also to make them welcoming and auspicious.

Landscape Feng Shui focuses on capturing the natural pulsating energy in the outside world to locate auspicious sites for homes.

The natural world imbues its own unique sense of peace and tranquility.  Whether it is deep in the countryside, high in the mountains or close to the ocean, they have an irresistible attraction welcoming all who visit and creating a sense of harmony.  We each tap into it, contribute to it and take from it to establish unity and a sense of belonging.

In our modern world we are subjected to a distortion of natural vibrational energy through electromagnetic energy, man-made structures and pollution which makes it more difficult to create harmony in our everyday lives.

This is where Feng Shui can help.  It allows us to capture and channel auspicious energy to align us with the right vibrational frequencies.  This in turn allows us to resonate with the natural world of which we are a part.

We are not separate from nature, we are part of nature, we each offer a different vibration that, in harmony, brings us peace and love.

To the fulfillment of your dreams
