Control of Your Own Destiny
From
A-Zen of Life by Dalai Lama
There are
many similar words we use such as; Good luck, Serendipity, Chance, Fate,
Destiny, Karma and Kismet.
And in
truth, do we ever use these words when BAD things happen? Not usually.
Then the words tend to be inwardly directed, such as, “Why does it
always happen to me?” (The answer to that question is easy: You
attracted it through your thoughts and actions.)
When
something that we interpret as GOOD or POSITIVE in our lives we have to find an
answer in one of the words above rather than accept that we also attracted this
GOOD into our experience.
Suppose you
have started practising Feng Shui, even at its most basic, to perhaps attract a
new job. ‘Out of the blue’ you get a
telephone call to go for an interview; the interview goes great and you are
offered a new position which is far more than you could have thought possible.
Do you
attribute it to Feng Shui or do you use one of the words listed above? Do you ever consider that you have attracted
it through the Law of Attraction?
Do you ever
say ‘Thank You?’
And who are
you saying ‘Thank You’ to? The universal
Energy that has rearranged itself to bring your desire to you, or yourself?
Both would
be right. You first, because you have
‘got out of your own way’ and released negative blocks that were holding you
back. You may very well have
unconsciously done that when you rearranged your living space; without
realising it you were saying to the Universe “this is what I desire, this is
what I am doing about it, can you help?”
Once your
desire has manifested then saying ‘Thank You’ to the universal Energy for
bringing it to you will pave the way for you to go on to bigger and better
desires.
There is a
popular saying ‘The Sky’s the Limit’ however nothing could be further from the
truth. There is no limit to what you can
attract as long as you don’t stand in your own way.
‘The World
is my Oyster’ William
Shakespeare-The Merry Wives of Windsor is interpreted as ‘All opportunities are open to someone, the world is theirs’ Wiktionary. As long as you interpret the ‘World’ as
‘Universe’ this saying is true.
THANK YOU
are two of the most powerful words you can use.
When said with passion and feeling they can set in motion an endless
stream of positive experiences.
The thing
is are you able to say ‘Thank You’ when something you perceive as bad
happens? Rather than look upon it as
negative, it will serve you better to treat it as a valuable lesson. Something in your physical life (your
surroundings) or your internal dialogue between your conscious and your
sub-conscious mind has created this experience.
Acknowledging
the lesson, staying optimistic, and seeking to make changes to allow a positive
outcome will carry you forward and release any unconscious blocks that are
holding you back.
By clearing
the external clutter from your life using Feng Shui and the internal clutter
from your life purposely with the Law of Attraction.
To the fulfillment of your dreams
